In the heart of High Valley Dawn, the harvest awaits – and what a great way to celebrate harvest than a festival - Harvestival... a three-day celebration woven with threads of family, community, and shared joy. Picture a space where information flows freely, connections deepen on a personal level, and laughter dances in the air like confetti. This isn't just an event; it's a canvas for the expression of the human spirit.
Five workshop hubs stand ready to ignite your curiosity and passion:
- The Temple, Run by the Synergy Rising Community - whispers promises of rejuvenation, self-discovery and the divine.
- The Bush 'UN'School, A massive kids wonderland run by Homegrown Nature Play - with its own enchanting program, invites the little ones to explore and create memories.
- The 'Homesteading Hub', run by the PermAlchemist - allows you to discover the art of utilizing your harvest, emphasizing the value of not just growing but cherishing our food.
- Step into the 'Calm Craft Corner', - an all-ages peaceful haven where the art of crafting meets the serenity of nature. Let your creativity flow as you engage with crafty materials and connect with the tranquility of the surroundings.
- Finally, amidst the verdant landscape, explore the gardens themselves – with 'Garden Gatheringz' - a space of hands on practical workshops, enlightening guest speakers, tours and animal feedings. 'Konscious Korner' - the captivating allure of music produced by the plants. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of plant music, where a frequency MIDI controller unveils the hidden melodies of the green companions. Join in the interactive space, where you can listen to the plants creating music and even jam along using instruments. It's not just a workshop; it's a symphony of nature, inviting you to experience the harmony that exists between humans and the botanical realm.
The heartbeat of Harvestival pulses through a beautiful stage and dance floor, where the sacred fire flickers, and the world-renowned Funktion-One speakers promise an auditory experience like no other. Here, beneath the stars, song and dance become the language of the soul.

We are blooming with excitement because high Valley Dawn Harvestival is just around the corner. We are super excited to announce that we are back this year bigger and better than ever - now providing you all with 3 days of fun-filled festivities! in a new location on the farm!!
Held over the Spring Equinox, this Harvestival is a celebration of community - with a huge emphasis on how we can come together to recreate an age old paradigm of self-sufficiency, collaboration, community and culture.
Harvestival is an all-ages, family-focused event featuring a massive fully immersive program of permaculture workshops, yoga and wellbeing, music (both live, and electronic),and a fun-filled action packed adventure for the kids.
We are a drug and alcohol free event - an alignment with the ethics of healing at High Valley Dawn farm.

CAMPING:
We are super excited to open up long weekend camping this year to the everyone willing and able. In previous years we only had enough room to accommodate staff, vollies ,artists etc... So we worked hard, even moved the earth to allow access to our southerly paddock, and let's just say it was soo worth it. Now we can allow you all to camp at the farm. Take special Note below of the guidelines and requirements for camping at High valley Dawn.
** Your Long weekend pass / ticket - Includes camping for Friday, Saturday and Sunday Night.
** Gates / opening Times:
Friday - 12pm to 10pm gates are closed outside these times)
Saturday - 8am - 6pm
Sunday - 8am - 1pm
** The main arena will be a construction zone on Thursday and Monday - so no access to the main arena - please stay in the campgrounds.
** Everyone must leave site by 12pm Monday.
** Campgrounds will have composting toilets and public showers. Please be fully self-contained and self-reliant in regards to this matter. IMPORTANT – no soaps to run off into the ground
** Campgrounds will have no rubbish or recycle bins. please take home what you bring in. REMINDER: this is a drug and alcohol-free event. That includes the campground
** Total Fire Ban in the campgrounds
** The farm house is out of bounds to the general public. You must have consent before entering this area of the farm.
** NO PETS allowed on the farm. Unless special circumstance and prior consent has been given by the event manager or farm coordinator. You will be refused entry with no refund option. This is important.
** Please do not feed the animals.
DEEP-DIVE RETREAT:
We are super excited to announce that this year, we will be hosting a 3 day retreat leading up to the event. An opportunity for those who want to dive a little deeper into their Harvestival experience.
The retreat will take place from Wednesday the 18th September to Friday the 20th September and includes camping as well as all meals for these days as well as a complimentary weekend pass to the weekend's festivities! Entry for retreat participants is from Tuesday 17th September from 2pm.
ETHOS:
Our festival is a closed loop system All our food vendors use produce from the farm itself (where possible) and also use washable cutlery and crockery - Our water facilities then recycle throughout the gardens >> ⟳ ⥁ <<
Our festival is powered by a fully off grid - solar system with battery bank and generator back up .
We reuse, before we recycle - our waste system uses a 5 bin system : Containers For change – Compostable – Burnable – general Recycling – Lastly Landfill (unfortunately we lost the soft plastic bin when RedCycle closed their doors)
Please accept our invitation to camp at the farm - however please do everything you possibly can to live within the ethos of the community here at High Valley Dawn. The universe will thank you.

Why:
Because its an absolutely amazing experience for all, But mainly, to keep the spirit of a self sustainable tribal community alive n' thriving, through educating and learning together and having a great time doing it!
