Interested in being your own boss? Want to change the world? You see a startup in your future or already have a side hustle? This event is for you!
Building on the expertise of one of Australia’s leading startup program (iAccelerate) two new entrepreneurial subjects will be launching in 2024: UOW 200 – Innovation and Impact in Practice (Autumn) and UOW 300 – Entrepreneurship for Impact (Spring).
These subjects equip students with the tools, techniques and thought processes necessary to start their own entrepreneurial journey. In UOW 200, students will work together to solve a complex organisational problem from a partner organisation by integrating different perspectives from a wide range of disciplines. In UOW 300, students evaluate innovative opportunities from a range of perspectives and disciplines to identify a feasible and authentic idea for an impactful start-up of their own.
Whether you come from a STEM background and have a knack for technology and thinking scientifically, a business mind with knowledge of organisational landscapes, or simply just have a keen eye for coming up with creative solutions, these subjects have something for everyone wanting to lead an innovative future.
