New Exhibitions
Description
M16 Artspace is pleased to announce the opening of three new exhibitions.
Opening Thursday 27th September, 6 - 8pm
This is a free event!
Gallery 1 | See What I See!
NatureArt Lab
'See What I See!' brings together artists from the NatureArt Lab community in a celebration of biodiversity, observation and connection. Through drawing, painting, photography and mixed media, the exhibition explores the richness of plants, animals, fungi and ecosystems, inviting audiences to look closely, reflect deeply, and engage with the natural world.
Gallery 2 | Imagining here from elsewhere
Olivia Gates
Olivia Gates used her residency at M16 to create glass tools that could be brought out into the landscape to be painted and printed in place. First sculpting glass roller forms from wax, Gates casts recycled CRT Television screens to create a surface and weight appropriate for watercolour monotype printing.
Gallery 3 | Beyond the Palette
Wilay Designs
Jazz Matthews, Kristal Matthews
Beyond the Palette is a journey that moves beyond the visual, inviting all peoples to connect, celebrate and learn. It’s not just colour- it’s emotion, storytelling and a powerful way of sharing culture through art.
