    Event description

In appreciation of the vital role that our grandparents and family friends play in the life of each Newington College student, The Newington Foundation is delighted to warmly invite you to a special event for New Grandies to hear from Dr Michael Carr-Gregg as he shares practical hints to navigating grandparenting in today’s world followed by light refreshments.

    RSVPs are essential.

Michael is one of Australia's highest profile psychologists, author of numerous books, broadcaster, and a specialist in mental health, families, parenting, children, adolescents, and the use of technology for mental health. In this special session for New Grandies, Michael will share some of the inspiration for his most recent book Grandparents: a practical guide to navigating grandparenting today.

“Michael Carr-Gregg’s book, Grandparents, is full of sensible and sensitive advice on how to navigate that most complex but rewarding relationship, being a grandparent."  - Margaret Throsby
