Event description

NEW LIGHT is a Junction Festival premiere and the culmination of 'THE MAKING OF ..." series composed by world renowned composer and musician Shenzo Gregoria (FourPlay String Quartet, Shenzos Electric Stunt Orchestra) and a Launceston local.

NEW LIGHT is a gentle bow and acknowledgement to the sun at the vernal equinox - a musical tribute to renewal and the entering of a new kind of day. It is a farewell to the shortest day in the year and a greeting to days that will grow longer. Through the mind and body of Shenzo Gregorio and a local artist, NEW LIGHT is a composed warm farewell to our more restful and nourishing seasons Autumn and Winter in anticipation of new life and warmth through Spring.
