New Member Induction Session

All are welcome to come along and learn about our Food Co-op!

You'll find out about membership, how to shop, and how to get involved as a Working Member. These sessions are wonderful opportunities to ask questions and meet some of the familiar faces about the place.

The event is also open to those who are considering joining as a member and would like to learn more. It is free to attend, but we encourage you to register, to help us gauge attendance numbers beforehand.

These inductions are run by a member of our Board of directors, and will also cover, among other topics:

• What is a co-operative, and how is it different from other non-profit or community organisations?

• The values, principles and history of Canberra's Food Co-op

• How you can get involved in your co-op and find a role that suits you

• Anything else you'd like to know!

Also included:

• A tour of our shop and rooftop garden

• A free lunch (vegan, gluten-free) included for all new members who attend the induction!

We're located at 3 Kingsley St, Acton. There is parking available (free on weekends) at the Toad Hall university residence, directly opposite the Food Co-op.
