New Moon Ritual & Guided Meditation
Event description
Step into the mystical energy of the New Moon—a sacred time revered in witchcraft for introspection, release, and setting powerful new intentions. This phase offers a blank slate, making it the perfect moment to begin again with clarity and purpose. Join us in a sacred circle as we honor this potent lunar turning with deep ritual, meditation, and heartfelt connection.
Drawing inspiration from the ritual teachings of High Priestess and Priest Janet and Stewart Farrar, this gathering embraces traditional ceremonial structure—though please note, our practice will not include the use of knives (athames), being skyclad, or touch (without consent). Instead, we work with focused intention, voice, and symbolic gesture to raise and direct energy.
Together, we will:
✨ Guide you through a grounding meditation
✨ Open the circle with sacred ritual and invocations
✨ Release what no longer serves us through a powerful letting-go ritual
✨ Set intentions for the cycle ahead with focused manifestation
✨ Close the circle in unity and gratitude
Offerings of cakes and wine left for the fae after the ritual - and what is left to be enjoyed by us!
This is a space for sincere and dedicated practice. Invocations may be offered to the old gods, the deities you work with—light or dark—or to your ancestors. All spiritual paths are honoured here.
This gathering is open to all genders, Men and masculine-aligned practitioners are warmly welcomed as we embrace balance and wholeness in community.
Preparation and important information:
To deepen your connection to the ritual, you are encouraged to fast for several hours before we begin—unless you have medical conditions or specific guidance from your healthcare practitioner advising otherwise.
