An immersive invitation for children ages 2-6 years to engage, learn and play within an engaging and safe forest space. The sessions run every Mondays from 10-11:30am at Stony Range Regional Botanic Garden and every Wednesdays from 10-11.30am at Manly Dam. One parent/carer is welcome to join in the fun free of charge. Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Includes storytelling, nature walks, crafts and unstructured free nature play.

Nature Play is crucial for our children's development - physical, cognitive, social and emotional. Playing outdoors in nature grows creativity, self-confidence, initiative, gross-motor skills and resilience. Being in nature creates a sense of connection, peace and wonder.

Our activities will amuse, entertain and educate your little ones in one of Sydney’s Northern Beaches hidden little gems. Come along and meet Sarah, an experienced environmental educator and certified forest therapy guide for a fun morning together in nature

Activities cost $28 per child with one parent/carer admitted free of charge.

Details about the facilitator: DR. SARAH BRIKKÉ

Dr. Sarah Brikké is the Founder and Director of Healing with Nature. She is a certified forest therapy guide, a certified first aid mental health aider, an environmental educator and a park ranger. She has successfully completed her PhD in the field of environmental psychology / environmental education, researching the benefits of nature on children (Griffith University, Australia). Healing with Nature is about connecting people to themselves, to nature and to their community. The mission of Healing with Nature is to offer nature tours to improve an individual’s spiritual, physical and mental health by immersing in nature. Healing with nature is an eco certified eco tourism business with EcoTourism Australia.
