You are invited to join a Nature Therapy Walk followed by learning how to make your own Ayurvedic organic facial cleanser, scrub and mask, using natural elements, learn about the powerful healing benefits of nature through sound healing and nature therapy. What is Nature Therapy?

Nature Therapy (also know as Forest Therapy, Forest Bathing or Shinrin Yoku) is an evidence-based public health practice that promotes guided immersions in natural environments with the aim of improving mental and physical health whilst relaxing and enjoying being in nature. This internationally recognized experience is gaining acknowledgement globally as an efficient and cost-effective natural medicine.

Mental health and wellbeing: How can nature therapy improve mental health? Your Nature Therapy guide is an experienced professional who is certified and qualified with specialist skills, knowledge and competencies in the application of this therapeutic technique. This scientifically proven natural medicine invites you to open your senses, become aware of your body, thoughts and feelings whilst listening and engaging with the peaceful environment surrounding you. Your guide will prompt you to engage in unique activities that have been proven to calm the nervous system, increase energy, reduce stress and improve intuitive skills.

Why work with Healing with Nature? Healing with Nature is a certified EcoTourism business with EcoTourism Australia. Our goal is to facilitate nature-based therapy immersions throughout Australia. We aim to positively impact as many community members as possible, creating thousands of accessible programs for those in need.

Your facilitators: Dr. Sarah Brikke (PhD) founded Healing with Nature in 2020. She is an accredited and certified Forest Therapy Guide (INFTA), an Environmental Educator (Northern Beaches Council, Ku-Ring-Gai Council, Royal Botanical Garden, Centennial Parklands and Sydney Olympic Park Authority), a Park Ranger and a mother. She holds more than 15 years experience working in the field of environmental education and sustainability globally.
