Join us at this emergency community organising meeting to learn about the new NDIS laws and what they mean for Disabled people.

This meeting will run from 6pm - 7pm.

6pm - Welcome and Intro

6.10pm - Presentation from Louis Bowden, Lawyer, Villamanta Disability Rights Legal Service about what the new NDIS laws mean for you

6.30pm - Questions

6.45pm - What you can do and how you can organise the people who already support you to show government we are a force to be reckoned with

7pm - Close

The event has been organised quickly, because government has only given us 2 weeks to tell them what we think of these new laws. This means that unfortunately there will not be Auslan interpreting. There will be captions, and a transcript of the event will be made available afterwards. We apologise for this.

If you cannot make this time, but want to find out about the new laws there are two other forums you can attend:

Villamanta Disability Rights Legal Service, Wednesday 20th May 2pm and Friday 22nd May 4pm

Every Australian Counts - 28th May, 2pm WITH AUSLAN
