Touring regional NSW takes more than a great show. It takes planning, adaptability, and the stamina to perform your best night after night no matter the stage, the room or the worksheet.

Join Elana Stone and Zeppelin Hamilton for an online session built around two things that make or break a regional tour: performance and planning. In the first half, unpack what it takes to deliver a strong live show consistently - rehearsal, set planning, stage craft, and staying performance-ready on the road. In the second half, get into the practical side of touring - working with venues, understanding production basics and building a tour that is impactful and sustainable.

You’ll walk away with intel on:

How to deliver strong live performances for different venues and audiences
How to plan and execute a regional tour with confidence

Who is this event for

You will get the most out of this workshop if you are an artist thinking about - or already doing - regional touring. Whether you’ve never left your hometown or you’re looking for new ways to tour, this one’s worth your time.

New Wave is a MusicNSW program built to give artists across NSW the practical tools and real-world insights they need to grow. An evolution of our much-loved Sound Advice program, New Wave features in-person and digital workshops, events and development programs all over the state, built for artists finding their footing and the people working behind the scenes to make things happen across local music scenes in NSW.

MusicNSW is the peak body for contemporary music in New South Wales - here for the artists, communities and music businesses that make this state's culture what it is.

With Artists. For Culture. From the Ground Up.

MusicNSW works, creates and listens on unceded Aboriginal land across the state. We honour elders past and present and acknowledge all First Nations peoples as the original music makers, storytellers and knowledge holders. Always was, always will be.

MusicNSW is supported by Sound NSW.
