New Years Eve

This event is capped at 200 for 2020, most events are almost full.

New Years Eve Rock around the Clock trail run 2020 is an opportunity to gather together in the great outdoors where we love to play and challenge ourselves. It's also an opportunity as a group of runners to farewell an unforgettable year. Not the type of year any of us could have ever imagined. The You Yangs offers such a variety of trail networks and is a great location to gather while safely maintaining appropriate distances, yet still enjoying the support and camaraderie that is always present at our events. Starting with the longer distances early in the afternoon and working our way through various events as the sunset it is truly a fun celebratory evening and we look forward to catching up with you on the trails again.

Choose from 50km, 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km, 5km and our 6hr event as you see how many 5km loops you can complete in their entirety before the strike of Midnight.

Time Schedule

To assist with social distancing and keeping public gathering numbers safer, please help us, by arriving for checkin within the hour prior to you start time.

3pm - 50km Start, please arrive for checkin between 2pm - 2:45pm

4pm - 42.2km Start, please arrive for checkin between 3pm - 3:45pm

5pm - 5km Start, please arrive for checkin between 4pm - 4:45pm

5pm - 6hr Start, please arrive for checkin between 4pm - 4:45pm

6pm - 10km Start, please arrive for checkin between 5pm - 5:45pm

7pm - 21km Start, please arrive for checkin between 6pm - 6:45pm

NOTE participants still running after 8pm must have a torch available to continue their event safely, NO torch, No Continuation on course

Participants and supporters must access start finish hub via provided access way to ensure all people presenting associated with event use hand sanitiser and are recorded in our covid log as attending the event.

We have a VIC GOV covid App requiring first name and phone number that can be filled in via QR code scan

To assist the speed of processing arrivals all attendees must provide on a sheet of paper as per attached the following details.
