Awaken Your Vitality: A New Year Qigong Renewal

Release the old. Reawaken your energy. Begin the year feeling grounded, clear and renewed.

A nourishing and uplifting immersion in Qigong movement, breathwork and meditation to restore balance, awaken vitality and embrace fresh possibilities for the year ahead.

What if you began the New Year not by pushing yourself to do more, but by cultivating the energy to live more fully?

The beginning of a new year is a natural time to pause, reflect and reconnect with what truly matters. Yet after the busyness of the festive season and the demands of everyday life, we can find ourselves carrying physical tension, mental fatigue and emotional stress into the year ahead.

This New Year, give yourself the gift of renewal.

Join Sarah Divine, over from Adelaide, for a transformative Qigong workshop exploring the ancient Taoist art of cultivating life energy (Qi), combined with modern insights from neuroscience, fascia research and sport and exercise science.

Through guided breathwork, flowing movements, meditation and mindful awareness, you'll discover practical ways to release accumulated tension, restore inner balance, reawaken your natural vitality and approach the year ahead with greater clarity, calm and purpose.

This experience brings together the restorative qualities of Yin and the revitalising qualities of Yang, helping you cultivate a balance of calmness and energy.

Whether you're completely new to Qigong or an experienced practitioner, this workshop offers an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, nourish your body, refresh your mind and renew your spirit.

Choose the morning workshop or immerse yourself in the full-day experience.

OPTION 1: Morning Workshop | 10:00 am to 12:45 pm

Release, Restore & Rebalance

Let go of tension, settle your mind and create space for renewal.

Begin your New Year renewal journey by slowing down, reconnecting with your body and releasing what you no longer need to carry.

Drawing on the wisdom of Taoist Qigong and contemporary understanding of the nervous system, we'll explore how movement, breath and mindful awareness can support relaxation, emotional balance and physical wellbeing.

During this restorative morning, you'll experience:

Gentle Qigong movements to release tension and encourage the smooth circulation of Qi
Breathwork techniques to calm the nervous system and support emotional regulation
Meridian-opening movements and gentle spinal mobility to restore ease and flow
Mindful movement to deepen your awareness of the connection between body, breath and mind
Guided meditation and relaxation to cultivate inner stillness, clarity and balance
Reflection to help release the old and make space for new possibilities

Leave feeling lighter, calmer, grounded and refreshed, with practical Qigong tools you can use in everyday life.

Perfect for anyone seeking a gentle New Year reset, greater ease in their body, relief from everyday stress or an introduction to the restorative power of Qigong.

OPTION 2: Full-Day Immersion | 10:00 am to 4:30 pm

Awaken Your Vitality: The Complete Renewal Experience

Release the old, cultivate fresh energy and embrace the year ahead.

For those wishing to take their renewal journey further, the afternoon builds upon the morning's restorative foundation, moving from stillness into greater energy, vitality and flow.

Having created space through relaxation and release, we'll explore the more dynamic and energising aspects of White Tiger Qigong to awaken the body's natural vitality and cultivate a deeper connection between movement, breath and intention.

The afternoon immersion includes:

Energising Qigong sequences to stimulate circulation, mobility and Qi flow
Flowing, spiralling movements to open the body, engage the fascia and encourage freedom of movement
Traditional White Tiger Qigong practices drawing on ancient Chinese Medicine and Taoist principles
Exploring Yin and Yang: balancing restoration with activation, stillness with movement
Cultivating the Three Treasures of Jing (Essence), Qi (Vital Energy) and Shen (Spirit)
The power of intention (Yi) to bring greater focus, clarity and purpose to your practice
Guided meditation, Qi gathering and New Year intention-setting to integrate your experience

We'll finish with a deeply grounding meditation, bringing together the physical, emotional and energetic benefits of the day's practices.

Leave feeling not just relaxed, but revitalised, uplifted and inspired, with a renewed connection to your energy and intentions for the year ahead.

The full-day immersion offers the most complete experience, allowing time to explore, deepen and integrate these practices.

Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Science

Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines movement, breath and focused intention to cultivate and harmonise Qi, our vital life energy.

Rooted in Taoist philosophy and Chinese Medicine, White Tiger Qigong incorporates dynamic movement, meridian theory, breathwork and meditation, complemented by modern understanding of biomechanics, fascia and the nervous system.

Research suggests that regular Qigong and mindful breathing practices may help reduce perceived stress, support emotional wellbeing, improve balance and mobility, and promote relaxation.

This workshop brings these ancient and modern perspectives together in an accessible, practical and deeply embodied experience.
