Meeting the Moon Workshop

We invite you to join us Mothers/Aunts/Grandmothers/Sisters/Daughters.
For girls 7 - 9 years and their Mother & Female Mentors.

This workshop is designed to connect Mum and Daughter through: movement, story telling and an interactive mandala experience. It opens discussion to the wonder and joy of the awakening of their bodies, into their blossoming timeline of puberty, which takes around a decade.

The workshop will give you the opportunity for deep connection, weaving modern and traditional womancraft into a fun and interactive workshop.

Our workshop focus is to empower you and your daughter, to understand the cycles of a female's body, its connection to the earth and moon rhythms and to welcome the transition through puberty with curiosity, open communication and family support.

This 3hr Workshop includes:

Experiential "Rhythmical Mandala" - how the rhythms are all linked to our menstrual cycle
- Exploring Earth, Moon and Menstrual Rhythms
- Seasonal and Cyclical Wisdom
- Yoga and gentle movement
- Herbs and self care
Exploring stories and tales from around the world
Mother Daughter Bonding
Each child is gifted a Lunar Journal
- to encourage and support open communication in the home
Light snack provided

Sahara Contempree - Empowering Menstrual Educator and Cyclical Consultant My Rhythmic BEing

Sahara is particularly focused on Women's Menstrual Cyclical Wellbeing. Women are gifted self knowing deeply through Cycle Awareness and Sahara is passionate in sharing and supporting women to know and practice this. She is honoured to work with premenstrual girls, introducing them to a wholistic view of blossoming into womanhood and cyclical life.
