We're thrilled to announce that our parade is now officially part of the Newcastle Pride festival !!!! This isn't just any parade it's a vibrant, outdoor celebration of local LGBTQIA+ pride, culture, diversity, and equality. We invite everyone to come out and be the truest version of themselves. This is your moment to shine, to be creative, and to bring all the colours of your personality to the Newcastle foreshore. Think rainbows, glitter, and endless fun! Dress in your brightest rainbow get-up and paint the Newcastle foreshore with a sea of pride! Whether you're waving a flag, dancing in the streets, or simply cheering from the sidelines, your presence will make this celebration unforgettable. Join us and let's show the world the incredible pride we have in our community. Let's make Newcastle sparkle with joy, unity, and love!

Registration: 10.30 - 11.30am | Depart: 11-30pm | End: 1pm

Parade Tickets:

$2 per person ( NCC administration fees)

$5 per Group ( NCC administration fees)

Meeting place: Honeysuckle Drive Car park walking along foreshore path and end at Nobbys Beach where our Principal Partner COLES will put on a BBQ

$2 for a sausage saga or $4 for a steak sanga (all proceeds will be donated to Newcastle Youth)

Allowed in Parade:

• All ages are welcome (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
• Portable sound systems to enhance the parade atmosphere.
• Small pushables (e.g., strollers, wheelchairs).
• Mobility scooters.
• Dogs are permitted, but please consider leaving them at home if it's a hot day.
• A must: Bring an inclusive and fun-loving attitude!

Not Allowed:

• No motor vehicles / motorcycles / Bicycles / scooters (this is a walking parade only)
• Zero tolerance for homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, or any discriminatory behaviours.

About the host: Newcastle Pride Inc is an inclusive, vibrant, fun Newcastle based incorporated association, an LGBTQIA+ community-based charity organisation established in March 2018. Newcastle Pride celebrates sexuality and gender diversity in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Region within and outside our community. We work collaboratively to foster LGBTQIA+ Pride. We are fully inclusive. 

Our vision is to empower the current and future generations to be their true selves and feel accepted, find their voice and be proud of who they are, regardless of their gender identity or sexuality.
