ReNewday Leadership Summit 2022
Event description
If you know our Summits, you'll know that the day is part festival, part wellbeing retreat and part conference. Our Summits feature a high calibre program of brilliant interactive speakers and activators and many other sensory delights, including our opt-in massage, yoga and art therapy, our popular pop-up shop and of course delicious food and drink from the events team.
In 2022, we will increase our focus on wellbeing and renewing. After living through a pandemic, we know that people are exhausted. Every Australian has had to endure a lot as a result of COVID-19. Pandemic fatigue is real and it's absolutely understandable that we feel some form of it in our days.
We are so committed to addressing this, that Newday in 2022 will be known as ReNewday. We will focus on restoration and renewal. Our speakers and activators will share knowledge and expertise to not only restore and renew ourselves, but to do the same for your teams and the organisations, causes and communities you lead.
Here is our amazing speaker line-up which includes:
Alex Soojung-Kim Pang - 4 day week Global Program Director
At Newday, Alex will speak about the 4-day week, the future of work, and how deliberate rest makes creative careers more productive and sustainable. Alex consults with companies and individuals who want to learn how to over-perform without overworking.
Dr Neralie Cain - Psychologist and Sleep Doctor
At Newday, Neralie will discuss why we still feel tired and burnout post-pandemic, how Covid-19 has impacted our sleep and why having good sleep is vital for leaders. She will also share other evidence-based tools to help us restore, reflect and renew to help us lead for the greater good.
Damon Gameau - Award winning Screenwriter/Director, Author and Activist
At Newday, Damon will share ideas that can renew, regenerate and heal our planet’s social and eco systems.
Dr Sukhbir Sandhu - Executive Director Centre of Workplace Excellence UniSA
At Newday, Sukhbir will share her latest research on how to be a wise leader (“From Knowledge to Wisdom”). Never have we expected more of leadership—and never have we been so disappointed. In a world where change is the only constant she will discuss how leaders can restore and renew their organisations by focusing on wise leadership to address wicked problems.
