At this Newday Leadership Lab, Dr Fiona Kerr, a world-renowned academic researcher, author, consultant and speaker will guide us towards becoming more aware of the transformative capacity of human connection in shaping our future. She will explore how we can harness the capacity of human thought and interaction and how we might shape technology to build flourishing organisations and relationships for a human-centric future.
Dr Kerr is a powerful advocate for the transformative qualities of human interaction. She encourages us to understand how leaders change our brains and how to maximise face-to-face contact and connection, whilst ensuring maximum benefit from the technology we make part of almost every day.
Dr Kerr is the Neural & Systems Complexity specialist at Adelaide University. She is also the founder of the Neurotech Institute, which explores the neurophysiological impact of interaction between people, and with and through technology. This all links with her mission “to change the way we think about how we think and to technologise accordingly.
Dr Kerr was a part of the 2018 Newday Summit via a video interview and at this Lab she will further explore the ideas she discussed. The session will help you to look deeper into what happens when we connect and will capitalise on the significant shifts that took place for many of our guests at the summit and those who have enjoyed the interview that has engaged so many since July.
