Newstead Arts Hub Movie Night

Newstead Arts Hub presents Platform Pieces, a series of events to celebrate community and enjoy one of the Hub’s lesser used spaces – the train platform. This space will be transformed into a stage, a backdrop, a movie theatre and a workshop, inviting all Newsteadians from all walks of life to enjoy an evening out with your neighbours and friends.

For the very first installation of Platform Pieces, bring the whole family along for an outdoor Movie Night projected on the platform. Enjoy recent Pixar classic ‘Up’ - a coming of age story about a boy scout and a retiree making their way to the forbidden Paradise Falls. Take advantage of the sausages and vegie burgers available for an easy Friday night meal & movie, and treat yourself to a glass of wine and popcorn while the kids are entertained.

Chairs are available, but feel free to BYO bean bags, comfy chairs, blankets, rugs or anything else.
