NEWCASTLE COMEDY CLUB PRESENTS

The NEWy COMIC SEARCH is an amateur comedy competition aimed at people trying standup comedy for the first time (or have performed a handful of times). If you've performed standup less than 5 times, you're eligible to enter.

There is a $1000 cash prize and a professional showcase spot at the Newcastle Comedy Club for the winner.

So if you think you're funny, throw your hat in the ring to compete for cash and glory during the Newcastle Comedy Festival!

You must be 18+ to enter the competition.

Audience: 16+ with parental discretion - be aware that there will be adult themes and language.
