NEXT GEN Concert

Our NEXT GEN YOUNG MUSICIANS program ran over the Spring school break in October, with 8 young musos that were keen to get some tips and support from our team of mentors.

We covered aspects of

• songwriting, how to start, what makes a great song

• musicianship, performance techniques

• harmony, melody and chord structures

plus more;

packed into 3 days of building new friendships and playing music together in a band setting.

This concert is a chance for these young, talented locals to each perform their original song written from scratch during the workshop and follow up mentoring sessions.

A chance for them to show the skills they've honed and the songs they've crafted, in front of a supportive audience- YOU!

Each student has also been invited to perform a cover song, either solo or as a band - so it will be an evening of musical variety.

The winner, chosen by the Mentor team at the Concert, will record their song at Coolroom Studios in Donnybrook, mixed and engineered by studio owner Chris 'Rocket' Baker, ready to go out on the streaming platform of their choice!

These young musos need a supportive crowd to perform to.

That's why we've created a 'Family' ticket. Its the same price for up to 4 people, so split the cost, and let's get them a good crowd!

Bring your families and friends for a fun evening out, championing these local youngsters and advocating for creativity and the future of live music in our region.

All profits go back to BACH, supporting future programs for youth.
