All aboard for a lively journey through Strathfield’s transport story!

In conjunction with the Ironbark Gallery’s exhibition Next, Stop, Strathfield: Travel Through History, Strathfield Council and the Strathfield-Homebush District Historical Society invite you to hear from the exhibition’s curators about Strathfield’s fascinating history of transport.

The exhibition will also be open for viewing.

Speakers:

Cathy Jones, Secretary, Strathfield-Homebush District Historical Society will speak about Rookwood Cemetery’s Mortuary Station.

Jenny MacRitchie, Local Studies Advisor, Strathfield Council, will talk about some of the more surprising forms of transport associated with the Strathfield district.

This event is free but bookings are essential.
