Op-shopping for young people

If you are a young person aged 18 to 25 and are interested in hanging out with other young carers, op-shopping and then chill out with snacks in a cool local art studio?

In this group, we will be taking a look at the sorting warehouse, and storage area of Brunswick Uniting Op-Shop. The amazing staffs there will also take us through what is it like to work in retail and chat about clothing in environmentalism!

Of course, we won't forget about shopping! Each young person in the group will be given a $40 voucher to shop. Either finding items within the $40 range or buying more and paying the remaining balance with your own money!

After shopping, we will be head down to Artful Dodgers Studio to chill out, do some games or crafting with yummy snacks! Or, you just want to hang out and chat. All up to you!

Brief event schedule:

3-4pm Warehouse and shop tour - How does it work? Clothing environmentalism? Retail 101?

4-5pm Op-shopping! Spend $40 or more .. new outfit for Christmas?

5-6pm Heading down to a cool local art studio to enjoy snacks, chats and some boardgames or crafts.

Free snacks, op-shop, freebies and new friends!!!!!!!!
