Event description

Join us for an evening of celebration as Ngalaya (nar-lee-ah) marks 25 years as the peak body for First Nations lawyers and law students across NSW!

NOTE: Ticket sales closes on Tues 23rd. For any last minute ticket purchases before August 25th, email contact@ngalaya.org.au

Our first annual Ngalaya Ball is an opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate our shared successes and perseverance. We will hear from some of Ngalaya's founding members, now our most senior legal professionals and trailblazers.

About Ngalaya

Ngalaya was founded in 1997 by young Indigenous lawyers and law students. Ngalaya is a Dharug/Eora word which means 'allies in battle' - this name and our logo reflect the heart of what Ngalaya is about: First Nations lawyers working together and supporting each other in the pursuit of a more just legal system.  Today Ngalaya represents over 800+ First Nations lawyers and law students across NSW and the ACT. Learn more about Ngalaya on our website.
