Ngalaya Ball 2024
Event description
Join us for our 3rd annual Ngalaya Ball & First Nations Law Awards!
The Ngalaya Ball is an annual celebration of the strength and excellence within the Indigenous legal community. Our first Ngalaya Ball was held in 2022 on Bidjigal Country to celebrate Ngalaya's 25th anniversary, and our second was combined with the NILC 2023 Gala Dinner and held on Gadigal Country.
This year we're very excited to be returning to Gadigal Country with our third Ngalaya Ball to be held at Doltone House Hyde Park. Join us for a night of celebration with mob, friends, and colleagues!
About NgalayaÂ
Ngalaya was founded in 1997 by young Indigenous lawyers and law students. Ngalaya is a Dharug/Eora word which means 'allies in battle' - this name and our logo reflect the heart of what Ngalaya is about: First Nations lawyers working together and supporting each other in the pursuit of a more just legal system. Today Ngalaya represents over 800+ First Nations lawyers and law students across NSW and the ACT.
