Ngarkat Tag Along Tour
Event description
4wd Tag Along tour through the southwest of Ngarkat, experience the range of activities available to the park and learn some more about the animals and plant that call Ngarkat home. Also learn some behind the scenes activities that take place in Ngarkat (fire management, fauna recovery, wildlife management, flora protection).
Rangers will allow time to Hike two walking trails (Mt Resuce / Goose Hill) along the way.
A 4wd equipped with the ability to drive of soft sandy tracks is required. The event is for people with medium fitness levels, families, couples and retirees anyone wanting to get out experience Nature.

Ngarkat Conservation Park, Snoswells Road Entrance - SW Corner of the Park (Snoswells Road, Via Dukes highway)

Please purchase tickets for each vehicle, not for individual people.
WHAT TO BRING
- Enclosed, sturdy shoes
- Backpack
- BYO snacks, lunch, and drinking water
- UHF Radio is desirable
- Hat, sunscreen, sun protective clothing
- Other clothing appropriate for the weather
- Any personal medications
Make sure you have the ability to deflate and inflate the tyres of your 4WD.
Camping before or after the event is an option, please remember to book.
NO toliets are located in the park so visitors will need to be self-sufficient.
EVENT CANCELLATIONS
This park is closed on days of Catastrophic Fire Danger and may also be closed on days of Extreme Fire Danger. In the case of park closure or other hazardous (e.g. weather) events, the walks will be cancelled, and you will be notified as soon as possible.
