Nia is a ‘dance-fitness’ program that blending Martial Arts with Dance and Healing Arts. Nia tones your body while transforming your mind. More than just a workout, Nia is a holistic fitness practice addressing each aspect of your life - body, mind and soul.

Nia classes combine uplifting music with simple choreography, removing the impact so the movements are forgiving on the body’s joints, ligaments and tendons. It provides a cardio-vascular workout by replacing jumping and running with moving the centre of gravity closer to and further away from the floor. And its secret ingredient is ‘Joy’, which is accessed via the body as a ‘sensation’, as distinct from emotion. This technique allows people to tap into life-force energy in any moment, regardless of how they are feeling.
