This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

The Hub Writers Group invites you to our first Author Talk of the year! We are excited to be joined by local Castlemaine writer Nicole Hurley-Moore.

Nicole writes rural romance based in the heart of Central Victoria. She is the author of eight novels including the best-selling Kangaroo Ridge Series.

Her most recent publication is Peppercorn House, 2024, Allen & Unwin. It is a story about finding love, the importance of family ties and how history can linger in the walls of an old house.

In this talk, Nicole will share her insights on fiction writing, development of character, world building and much more.

Join us for an evening of learning and ideas.

All Welcome!

Love writing? Come along to the Hub on the 4th Friday of the month for our ‘shut up and write’ sessions: an afternoon writing session from 1-5pm, and then an evening session from 6.30-8.30pm - some evening sessions will be a talk by an invited writer. For more info follow the link
