In light of recent changes to event requirements due to COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming Night at The Museum event scheduled for Friday 21 January.

We understand this is frustrating news for some, but as a small volunteer-run organisation, we are still in the process of implementing new Covid-safe protocols, such as those related to vaccine status checks for large events.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to work through Covid-19 procedures to ensure the right safety measures are in place for our residents, volunteers, and visitors.

Ticket holders for The Night at The Museum can use their ticket for FREE entry into the museum once we reopen up until 30th June 2022. All you need to do is show your event ticket to volunteers for proof of entry. Alternatively you can request a refund by replying to the email sent to you.

Despite this news, we have an exciting year ahead and encourage you to keep up to date with our social media feeds. Our volunteers continue to maintain our aircraft and make improvements to our exhibits in preparation for your next visit. Stay tuned and we hope to see you soon.

On Friday 21st January, you are invited to join us for a truly unique experience. For the first time, we are opening the doors of the Aviation Heritage Museum at night-time. Come along and see our aircraft as you never have before as we light them up for a special night viewing.

If you haven’t been to the museum before because your days are too busy, then this event is perfect for you. Our doors will be open from 5pm to 9pm and food trucks will be onsite for a picnic on the grass outside. So come down for dinner and visit and view one of the biggest collections of aircraft on show in Australia.
