TANGOLOGY

Amidst the traditional forms of tango featuring composers such as Gardel, Arolas, and di Sarli, Tangology a trio of passionate dancers/musicians come together to weave their artistry through a set of their favourite tangos. Dancing, listening, and experiencing the joy of tango is all encouraged at our debut performance at the wonderful and iconic Open Studio.

JEN HAWLEY

Known for her one-of-a-kind sound that effortlessly flows through the realms of jazz, blues, and folk, Jen Hawley’s original music carves out a space where every note has a story to tell. Armed with her guitar, vocals and a dash of looping, Jen will be teaming up with the amazing Caitlin French on the violin. Caitlin's rich, soaring lines add an extra layer of goodness to Jen's eclectic blend of musicality and storytelling.

Niki LoBartolo:

A twirl into the labyrinth of violin using special effects and vocals. With touches of tango, hints of jazz, and swirling melodic solo lines, Niki implores you to come, listen, dance, and journey with her through an eclectic zephyr of sound.

In the case of feature ticketed shows, seating will be automatically assigned to all ticket holders, and please be aware that some tables are shared; no reservations are required for tables.
Limited seating is offered for all dance party events to allow for an open dance floor experience.
Open Studio offers a patio and an outdoor garden courtyard with seating.
Enjoy a variety of options, including sweet and savory crepes, cheese boards, jaffles, homemade nachos, cocktails, mocktails, and more, served until late. Vegan and Gluten Free options are available - please speak to staff if you have allergies.
