Drawing inspiration from the rich musical traditions of Serbia, Macedonia, Romania, Greece, and beyond, Niko Ne Zna combines soaring brass, driving percussion, passionate multilingual vocals, and original compositions to create a spectacular live experience. Featuring two trumpets, soprano saxophone, tenor and bass trombones, sousaphone, traditional Balkan bass drum (tapan), snare drum, and powerhouse vocalist Nikkie Rich, the band delivers an exhilarating performance that will have you dancing from the first note to the last.
With more than fifteen years of captivating audiences throughout New Zealand and Australia, appearances at WOMAD New Zealand, and original music featured in What We Do in the Shadows, Niko Ne Zna has earned a reputation as one of New Zealand's premier world music acts.
