Nipaluna Va Journal Club - November
Description
The Va Journal Club was created in 2016 in Naarm/Melbourne to provide a safe gathering space for midwives to discuss, debate and dissect a nominated journal article as well as explore the impact of emerging research on our practice and most importantly, the women, people and families we support.
The Hobart Va Journal club is a positive, respectful and inclusive environment for us to safely discuss, learn, reflect and share. The Nipaluna/Hobart chapter meets every 8 weeks to gather, reflect, discuss and connect. Midwives from all areas and stages of practice are welcome and encouraged to attend.
In November, we are discussing a 2026 paper by Montford et al. "Active second-stage duration under 15 minutes in spontaneous vaginal deliveries with delayed pushing".
