Program Overview

This immersive 8-day training is designed for people who want to create deep, lasting change – in themselves and in others. Across 8 powerful days, you’ll learn the core models of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy® techniques, and the foundations of professional coaching, then integrate them into a practical, ethical change-work toolkit you can use with yourself and real clients.

By the end of the program, you’ll walk away with three internationally recognised certifications (once you meet assessment requirements) and the confidence to coach yourself and others through emotional blocks, limiting beliefs, and unhelpful behaviour patterns.

In short: it’s part personal transformation, part professional qualification – in one life-changing program.

1. NLP Practitioner

You’ll learn the essential models and tools of NLP, including:

What the unconscious mind does and how it works.
How language and internal imagery shape our experience and behaviour.
Rapport skills for building instant connection and trust.
Representational systems to read people better and understand how we all learn and process information.
Submodalities – how people code experience in their mind and how we can influence that coding.
Anchoring techniques to access resourceful states on demand.
Strategies and reframing methods for shifting limiting patterns.
Goal-setting with well-formed outcomes and future pacing.

You’ll practice these tools in pairs and groups so they become natural and easy to use with others.

2. NLP Coach

You’ll integrate NLP tools into a coaching framework so you can confidently work with clients:

The difference between therapy, mentoring and coaching, and when to use which.
A step-by-step coaching process: contracting, clarifying outcomes, exploring the present state, intervention, and follow-up.
Powerful questioning and listening skills to uncover root-cause patterns, not just surface problems.
Working with deep unconscious patterns to help clients align their lives with what truly matters.
Structuring coaching packages and sessions ethically and professionally.
Being an authentic coach that is truly you.

By the end, you’ll know how to use NLP not just as techniques, but as part of a complete coaching conversation from start to finish.

3. Time Line Therapy® Practitioner

Time Line Therapy® is a process that helps people release stored negative emotions and limiting decisions from the past, while preserving the learnings. It is often used to work with anger, sadness, fear, hurt, guilt, and deep-rooted beliefs such as, “I’m not good enough” or “I don’t deserve success / happiness” or “love is hard work” or “I need to be rich to be respected” etc.

In this stream you’ll learn:

How to guide clients safely along their “time line” to the origin of emotional blocks.
Techniques to release accumulated negative emotions such as anger, sadness, fear, hurt and guilt.
How to clear limiting decisions (e.g., “I can’t make money,” “I always fail”) and replace them with empowering beliefs.
Using Time Line Therapy® for future goals – installing a compelling, believable vision of success.

You’ll practice these processes in a supervised environment to ensure competence and confidence.

Example Course Structure (8 Days)

Day 1–3: Foundations of NLP
- NLP presuppositions, communication model, rapport, representational systems, submodalities.
Day 4–5: NLP Practitioner Techniques
- Anchoring, parts integration, reframing, strategies, language patterns, goal setting.
Day 5-6: Coaching with NLP
- Coaching frameworks, powerful questions, values and beliefs work, structuring coaching sessions.
Day 7–8: Time Line Therapy® Practitioner
- Releasing negative emotions and limiting decisions, future goals, integration and assessment.

Each day includes demonstrations, practice, Q&A, and reflection.

Assessment & Certification

To ensure you’re confident and competent, you’ll be assessed through:

Practical demonstrations of key techniques.
Participation in exercises and practice sessions.
Short written or oral assessments on core concepts.

On successful completion, you will receive three certificates stating that you have met the training requirements for:

Your certifications will come from ABNLP (American Bureau of NLP) and the Timeline Therapy Association.

Meet Your Head Trainer

Sheila Singam has been a passionate educator for over 20 years.

She has vast experience and training in the fields of sales, training, coaching and communications. Sheila has been a teacher, sales professional, journalist, training manager and communications consultant during the course of her 30 year career.

Now, her training and coaching agency, Human Equation, has been successfully running corporate training programs in sales, change management, executive coaching, communications (and more) for over 12 years with a client-base from a variety of industries.

She is an integral part of the Nexus Training Group of trainers who work collaboratively in bringing expertise together across borders.

Sheila has a myriad of certifications and has an Honours degree in Mathematics and Chemistry and a Diploma in Education. She is a Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming and NLP Coaching certified by the American Board of Neuro Linguistic Programming and a Trainer of Time Line Therapy® Master Practitioner certified by the Time Line Therapy® Association. She is also a certified trainer by the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) under Malaysia’s Ministry of Human Resources. She holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Innovation and Design Thinking jointly delivered by MIT Sloan, Columbia Business School and Tuck School of Business and has a certificate in Story Telling from IDEO U and a Virtual Learn Caster certification.

She appears in the media regularly for interviews on corporate training and is a speaker at many conferences. She is always educating the public on personal and organisational development.

When not in training or running her successful business, she is painting and creating amazing works of art. She had her first solo exhibition in 2022 and generously contributed her profits to Cancer Research.

Meet Your Assistant Trainer

Usha Raman, has trained hundreds of people from around the world.

She left her Sales Manager career in the event industry to be a college lecturer and later becamecertified as a trainer, behavioural consultant and Master Life Coach. She now runs training and coaching programs in Team Building, Corporate Wellness, Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence. Usha was in the events industry for over 12 years, after which she was a lecturer in events management where she honed her love for training. Whilst in the events industry she managed the accounts of major corporations like Chanel, Gucci, Fendi, Government Ministries, Citibank, HSBC and more.

An avid volunteer, Usha has organised a diverse array of programs in self-empowerment in the Asia Pacific region for over 20 years. She was also on the board for a grassroots organisation and is currently a volunteer lead administrator for a not-for-profit which caters to the needs of vulnerable communities. She is also an area director for Toastmasters International in Western Australia.

In recognition of her efforts, she was the finalist for Health Magazine's, ”Wellbeing Woemn of the year in 2022. In 2019, she received the accolade, "Iconic Woman Creating A Better Future" at the world renowned conference, 'Women Economic Forum' which was held for the first time in Australia. The public also voted for her to win the Nifnex Perth's Influential 100 Awards (2016).

What started as a journey for self-development became the vision of Usha’s work today. She positively shifted her life through embracing Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) during her own personal challenges. A lifelong learner, she has now made it her mission to advocate Mindfulness and EQ strategies so that people and organisations can continue to thrive, no matter the circumstances.
