Please note the following: there is no cap on ticket numbers however, 700 seats are available only for 150 students graduating. Please book for people who can definitely attend.
If you are a student graduating and walking across stage, you do not need a ticket. However, on the day, you must check in at 1Pm, 1 hour prior to the ceremony start time of 2pm.
Guest ticket passes for family, friends and students attending the ceremony/celebration: The doors to the hall will open at 1.30pm.
Ceremony will start at 2pm and finish approximately 3.30/4pm.
A street parade will follow, down Trafalgar Street to NMIT, 322 Hardy Street (subject to weather).
SANITI – Student Association invites you to a garden party outside the Student Centre for live music, photos, nibbles and a celebratory drink with your family and friends. SANITI Team will provide you with a wristband at Trafalgar Centre to redeem your free drink at the garden party (please bring photo ID if you are under 26 years of age). Only one complimentary drink, free non-alcoholic and water will also be available
Professional photos will be taken with you on stage and Jim Tannock, the photographer, will return to NMIT after the ceremony and parade to take family and friend pictures. Fun photo walls will also be available.
Car parking is limited at the Trafalgar Centre. Alternative free parking is on Arkensten street with a walkway to the Centre. Please allow time to find a car park.
