NLNL IS A GLOBAL DANCE COMMUNITY PROVIDING AN INCLUSIVE AND NON-JUDGEMENTAL PLACE FOR PEOPLE TO EXPLORE A FREE FORM OF DANCE
NLNL is a weekly lights-off chance to dance in the dark for the pure joy of dancing!
It occurs in over 75 locations around the world!
At the heart of No Lights No Lycra (NLNL) is the belief that everyone can dance.
There is no light, no lycra, no teacher, no steps to learn, no technique, just free movement.
NLNL is a space where you can completely let go, shake out the stresses of the week, and lose yourself in the music and the physicality of your body. NLNL is a daggy, non-pretentious place to completely be yourself.
At No Lights No Lycra there is:
💡 No lights - we dance in the dark so you can dance like no one is watching
🤭Talk free zone - please feel free to clap, cheer and sing along
📵No Phones or Fitbits/smartwatches (we like to keep it dark and avoid distracting other dancers)
👯♀️No judgement
Thursdays 7-8 pm. Dancers are encouraged to arrive before lights out at 6:50 pm to warm up and find their spot to let go and dance
$10 standard $8 concession plus booking fees $10 + ($1.53) $8 + ($1.44)
Humanitix donates 100% of the profit from your booking fees to children’s charities.
