Join Common Threads for this interactive workshop about how you can build support for justice through the power of 1-1 conversations.

Led by experienced facilitators, this session will help you build the skills and confidence to:

Denounce the far-right, fascist and neo-Nazi groups, individuals, rhetoric and ideas — without qualification.
Support Treaty, Gellung Warl and the right of First Nations peoples to self-determination, justice and equitable representation.
Reject racism, racial vilification and political scapegoating, including the use of First Nations, migrant, refugee, multicultural and faith communities as political footballs.
Take meaningful action to eliminate discrimination in employment, housing, healthcare, education, policing and the legal system.
Defend every person and their right to practise their culture and traditions, speak their language and live free from prejudice and discrimination.
Lead in a way that brings Victorians together and celebrates the diversity that makes our state stronger.

This workshop will have a focus on readiness for community conversation events like door-knocks and market stalls in the lead-up to the Victorian election.
