No Rules Cartooning facilitated by Cartoon Dave

Workshop for ages 7 - 12 years

Join Cartoonist, children’s author and tv cartoonist Cartoon Dave for a fun, fully interactive workshop. Learn how simple it is to make up loads of your own cartoon characters in a super-fun workshop in which you’ll discover that with cartooning, there really are NO RULES!

Parents are not required to stay, however, they are also welcome to join in the cartooning fun!

About Dave:

Dave ‘Cartoon Dave’ Hackett can draw a five-headed disco-granny faster than anyone on the planet. A beloved cartoonist, children’s author and television personality in Australia since the mid 1990s, Dave has been a cartooning fixture on too many TV shows to mention (Disney Channel, Toasted TV, It’s Academic, CheeZ tv…), and has taught his ‘No-Rules’ brand of cartooning for the past twenty-something years to over 250,000 children in schools, libraries and festivals all over the world.  

He is the author and illustrator of twenty-four books for children of all ages, and is currently working on a graphic novel about Australian Rock ‘n’ Roll, mostly because he finds the Bee Gees hilarious. Dave is now based in France, where he struggles to make sense of most things, while making books and art with his glorious wife (writer Miranda Richmond Mouillot). Together they own two cats, one of which is called Blobs. Or Maurice, depending who you ask.

Refunds are available up to 3 days before the event. Refunds will include the ticket price less the Humanitix fees (which consists of the payment processing fee and the service fee combined)
