Noche de observación astronómica para el público hispanohablante (Spanish-Speaking Public Observatory Night)

Acompáñanos en el Observatorio de la Universidad de Harvard, donde nos adentraremos en los misterios del Universo durante dos charlas cautivadoras, ¡presentadas íntegramente en español! Después, tendrás la oportunidad de ir al techo del Observatorio para disfrutar de un sobrecogedor viaje a las estrellas. ¡Un equipo de apasionados astrónomos hispanohablantes te guiará a través de las maravillas celestes de la noche! ¡No te pierdas de esta encantadora velada bajo el resplandeciente cosmos!

Este evento está patrocinado por el Observatorio de la Universidad de Harvard (HCO), en colaboración con el Laboratorio Nacional de Aceleradores SLAC, la Universidad de Stanford y el Instituto Kavli de Astrofísica de Partículas y Cosmología (KIPAC). El Observatorio patrocina diversos programas gratuitos para el público. Entre ellos se encuentran las Noches del Observatorio, que suelen celebrarse el último jueves de cada mes, aunque pueden estar sujetas a cambios. Las Noches del Observatorio ofrecen dos charlas no técnicas de 20 minutos y de observación telescópica desde el tejado del observatorio si el tiempo lo permite. La entrada es gratuita, pero limitada y por orden de llegada.

Este evento se celebrará en el Auditorio Phillips (en la parte trasera del complejo HCO, cerca de Madison Street y del gran aparcamiento), 60 Garden Street, Cambridge, a unos 2,5 km al occidente de Harvard Square. El estacionamiento es gratuito

Join us at the Harvard College Observatory where we will delve into the mysteries of the universe during two captivating talks, presented entirely in Spanish! Then, ascend to the roof for an awe-inspiring journey to the stars. A team of passionate Spanish-speaking astronomers will guide you through the night's celestial wonders! Don't miss this enchanting evening beneath the shimmering cosmos!

This event is sponsored by the Harvard College Observatory (HCO), in collaboration with SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Stanford University, and Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC). The HCO sponsors a variety of free programs for the public. Among these events are Observatory Nights, typically held on the last Thursday of select months, but may be subject to change. Observatory Nights feature two 20-minute non-technical talks, and telescopic observing from the observatory roof if weather permits. Admission is free, however, tickets are limited, and seating is first-come, first-served.

This event will be held in the Phillips Auditorium (at the rear of the HCO complex near Madison Street and the large parking lot), 60 Garden Street, Cambridge, about 1 mile west of Harvard Square. Parking is free.
