Brothers Terrence and Phillip (real names) are a production duo who didn’t originally start their exploration of drum & bass through dance music. Instead, one half of the Western Australian outfit Phill spent his formative years pouring over his drum kit during school hours. Tez on the other hand was enthralled by the heavy basslines of Gangsta Rap and despite their parents pressuring him into a more classical path into music, he craved the harder hitting styles. But with their father being bass guitarist and their mother working as a live sound engineer during the 80’s, the technical side of music’s production would eventually become an obvious route for boys.

2020 saw GKM founders Tez & Phil Bewsey return home to Perth after a life changing year and a half living in the drum & bass capital of the world Bristol (UK). Week in week out the pair were booked all around England and Europe showcasing their immense and unique DJing abilities. Like fish to water the pair were taken in by the local scene and almost over-night, it was like they had been there all along.
