Event description

Join Textile & Community Artist Sahana Rahman for a hands-on Nokshi Kotha Workshop - a creative gathering that celebrates community and connection through the traditional Bengali art of embroidery.

Rooted in the rich storytelling tradition of Nokshi Kantha, this session invites participants to learn about the cultural heritage behind the craft and contribute to a growing communal fabric. Together, we’ll stitch our stories, share experiences, and create something beautiful as a collective.

No prior experience needed - just a willingness to connect, create, and contribute.

Ages 14+ (due to work with needles)

This workshop is made possible with support from Corban Estate Arts Centre, and the Auckland Council family, ka rawe!
