Nomadic Journal Club is a series of events, aiming to be held twice a year, by MD Escapes. The inaugural session will be held as a pre-meeting to the annual MD Escapes Medical Meeting, being held in Komodo in 2026 (https://events.humanitix.com/komodo).

The aim is a simple, small group CPD retreat focussed on journal reading in a relaxing, distraction-free environment with learning points reinforced by formal and informal discussion sessions. We aim to hold "drop-in" style sessions over breakfast for anyone to pull up a seat and eat while chatting about cases, reviewing their own practice style or sharing interesting articles they have read.

Reading sessions will take place through the day, interspersed with self care activities in the resort facilites. The day ends with discussion time over happy hour or dinner in free-form small groups.

You do not have to be a previous attendee to join us, and all in the medical industry and adjacent professions are welcome. Non medical attendees do not need registration, and you are encouraged to bring partners, families or anyone you wish.
