Join Ashlea in learning and practicing the Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLMM) at the beautiful Wilderness Yoga Studio. The Non-Linear Movement Method® is a somatic practice tool developed by Michaela Boehm designed to connect mind with body through a guided exploration.

NLMM is a guided yet self led meditative movement practice, set to music. Each week we will explore a different theme and embodied reflection through movement.

NLMM is facilitated on a mat or blanket. Dress similar to a Yoga or Dance Class, in comfortable, non-restrictive clothing.

The method can be practiced at any age, fitness level and mobility. The movements are designed to be self regulating and can be done in any position, including laying down. The Non-Linear Movement Method® can also be practiced at home in between in person sessions.

Ashlea studies directly with Michaela Boehm and is now an authorised Non-Linear Movement Method® and Wild Woman’s Circle® facilitator.

Please note: Non-Linear Movement Method® is a somatic practice tool. It is not a medical therapy or intervention. This practice encourages participants to have their ‘eyes closed’ or an eye cover such as a headband or eye mask. It can be adapted to suit different body shapes and sizes however in this studio is practiced on a Yoga Mat and is therefore not necessarily suited to every body.
