NAIDOC Week Event - Noongar Artist Talk with Rohin Kickett

Noongar artist talk with Noongar Balardong artist Rohin Kickett.  Rohin was born in Northam, WA and comes from a family of artists.  Hear how he began creating art and his artistic method.  He is a painter and photographer who explores different methods of mark making.  

Much of his inspiration comes from personal experience and seeing first hand the effects that colonisation has had on his family.  He explores his connection to country through his art and hopes to help people better understand the issues Aboriginal people while building stronger relationships.  

Rohin is a passionate advocate for first nations artists and his murals can be seen publicly around Perth.
