Noongar Language Afterschool - Term 4 workshops
Event description
The Dylan's and their Noongar Language lessons are back at the Vic Park Community Centre for Term 4!
Youngsters will learn Noongar language and culture through a range of fun games, songs, craft activities, storytelling, artefacts demonstrations and more!
Term 4 will focus building upon the knowledge from previous terms.
We welcome both new and familiar faces, with the classes designed so that everyone will learn something new!
The lessons are inclusive of Indigenous and non-Indigenous folks and offer a friendly, vibrant, hands on learning space to suit all ages and learning styles.
Parents are welcome to join the kids for free.
Dylan Collard of Kalyakoorl is a proud Wadjak Balardong Noongar man - local VP resident, primary teacher and language expert. These sessions are ran with the help of Dylan Shillito Stack (of Ngalak Nidja), a proud Wadjak Balardong Noongar man, performer, musician and artist.
