Noongar Song, Dance & Storytime @ Coogee Beach | School Holiday Program

Join Phil Farmer and journey into Noongar culture and history through song, dance and storytelling. Get hands-on with traditional artefacts and discover how plants and animals have been used and valued in Noongar culture for generations.

Phil is a Noongar Wadjak man with connections to Balardong and Wadandi Country. Phil engages people of all ages through interactive, hands-on experiences that are both meaningful and memorable. He brings a deep respect for culture, family and Country into everything he shares, creating authentic and cultural grounded learning opportunities.

Location: Coogee Beach Playground, Powell Road

Time: 9:30am to 12:00pm (Please arrive by 9:15am to register)

Recommended Age: All Ages

Cost: $5 per child. Accompanying adults free.

Please bring: Comfortable and enclosed shoes suitable for walking, hat, sunscreen, raincoats if raining, water bottle and reusable cups. Light refreshments will be provided! Please advise dietary requirements at checkout.

• Toilets and drinking fountains can be accessed on site.

• Plenty of parking available

• Parents/guardians must stay with children 16yo and younger. Adults are encouraged to participate in the activities.

• Cancellations and refunds: This event will only be cancelled if extreme weather conditions are forecast. If you can not attend, please inform us as soon as possible! Tickets are limited and we want to make sure as many people as possible can join us. Refunds will only be offered when tickets are cancelled 3 days prior to the event.
