Book a guided tour from 10.30am-11.30am, Saturday 20 April or 2.30pm-3.30pm, Sunday 28 April to explore the garden with one of the gardeners

The gardeners will discuss how climate change is affecting our weather and seasons, the crops we are growing or not growing as a result, as well as garden diseases, Hugelkultur and drought mitigation techniques. Also seed saving and gardening resilience.

The community garden is located in a beautiful peaceful setting above the North East Valley School.

The community gardeners are interested in soil health, natural gardening systems, demonstrating food resilience strategies and learning together.  

Access to the garden behind North East Valley Primary School (248 North Road) or access from the rear of the garden off Longworth Street.

Please park on the road and walk up the garden path.  

Cost: Koha on the day (proceeds to go towards gardening expenses)
