North London Collegiate School - Jeju Korea Camerata Free Concert

The Blackheath Rhododendron Festival is delighted to welcome a touring group from the North London Collegiate School - Jeju Korea consisting of 15 students, boys and girls from their string ensemble, and 3 music teachers.

NLCS Jeju has a high reputation in the school music scene as well as challenging the boundaries of musical genre. The School has a full time Symphony Orchestra, Concert Bands, String Ensembles and is considered a Chamber Music specialist.

NLCS ensembles are regularly asked to perform for occasions the British Consulate or the British Chamber.

Since its inception in 2011, NLCS Jeju has been at the forefront of the Arts and Music in Korea. A high performing IB School, NLCS Jeju Music and Music Performance is renown throughout Korea for high levels of excellence in Orchestral as well as Contemporary music.
