Join us for a family-friendly morning of hands-on coastal care on Wadandi Boodja at North Point, Gracetown WA.

This community busy bee hosted by Nature Conservation Margaret River Region, DBCA, and the Gracetown Cowaramup Bay Community is a chance to roll up your sleeves, connect with others, and care for one of our coastline’s most iconic and fragile environments: North Point.

Nestled along a spectacular stretch of the Leeuwin–Naturaliste coast, this area features rare granite vegetation and sensitive dune systems that need a helping hand.

Together, we’ll:

  • Plant native seedlings grown from locally collected Gracetown seed

  • Brush informal tracks to prevent fragmentation, reduce erosion, and protect vulnerable vegetation

  • Weed out invasive species that threaten the natural landscape

Whether you’re a long-time local, a visitor who loves this coast, or simply someone looking to give back — you’ll be making a real impact on the health and resilience of this special place.

What to Bring

  • Sturdy, closed shoes

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

  • A reusable water bottle

  • Hat and sunscreen

  • Gloves and any tools (if you have them)

Why It Matters

This area is not only a natural treasure but also of cultural significance. By participating, you’re helping to protect biodiversity, support local ecosystems, and contribute to ongoing efforts to care for Country.

No experience is needed — just a willingness to help out, get dirty and connect.

Register now to secure your spot and be part of this meaningful morning of action. Everyone is welcome!
