North Sydney Council- Professional Development for Artists- What is a Professional Artist?

The second in North Sydney Councils' PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR ARTISTS series.

Aimed at artists working in all artform types and experience levels and with networking opportunities, there will be something for everyone.

The Arts and Culture Team aim to run these sessions around once a month based on the topics artists have expressed interest in.

5.30pm- 6.00pm - Networking activity

6.00pm-7.00pm Discussion session:  'What is a Professional Artist'?

    * Discusses the differences between a professional artist and an amateur or hobbyist?

    * Explores some of the other definitions that artists are asked to describe themselves

    * Describing your practice- more than "I am an artist"
