Northern Beaches Net Zero Expo 2024
Event description
Join us for our first-ever Net Zero Expo, a free event for residents and local business showcasing ideas and inspiration across solar, energy, electric vehicles, sustainable living and the circular economy.
Discover cost-saving ideas and smart tech devices to help you heat, cool and power your home, talk to experts, test drive electric cars, ebikes and electric mopeds and learn ways to reduce what you send to landfill.
Plus, experience live cookery demonstrations, a second-hand clothes market, worm farm and composting demonstrations and a free native plant giveaway.
Across the day, visitors can join panel discussions, MC'd by Craig Reucassel from the ABC’s War on Waste. Hear from inspiring net zero pioneers, community organisations and government bodies on practical and achievable ways to adapt the way you live work and move.
The Northern Beaches produces approximately two million tons of C02 a year, and electricity consumption makes up around 56% of that. We know many of you have started to make more climate friendly changes to your lifestyles, but collectively we need to do more.
Wherever you are on your green journey, the Net Zero Expo will help support and inspire you to make your lifestyle cleaner, greener and cheaper.
By registering you qualify for entry into the Prize Draw, winners announced throughout the day. *Terms and Conditions Apply (please see the event website for more details).
