Northern Focus Cocktail Event

The TICT invites tourism and hospitality operators, stakeholders and supporters to its first event of the 2025 calendar - Northern Focus - to celebrate the region, its achievements and its role in the future of Tasmania's visitor economy. 

We've invited the Premier and Tourism Minister, the Honourable Jeremy Rockliff MP, to chat to us about the work government is undertaking to support the industry in the north, including updates on major projects and infrastructure. Plus, you'll also hear an exclusive update from TICT CEO Amy Hills about our federal election platform as well as from a local industry panel.

The north is going from strength to strength with 2024 proving to be a year full of achievements within tourism, including winning 10 Gold at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards, Launceston and the Tamar Valley being named the fourth best region in the world to visit according to Lonely Planet, and Launceston Airport welcoming a record number of travelers through its doors.
